I received a check-- how do I get more information?

You can receive donations to your nonprofit even if you do not have a CrowdRise account. Donations processed by PayPal Giving Fund will arrive via check if your nonprofit is not enrolled in their Certified Charity Program.

Donations made to nonprofits on CrowdRise are processed through PayPal Giving Fund (default) or WePay. If you do not have an account on CrowdRise or do not elect to sign up for WePay, you may receive your donations via check to the address you have on file with the IRS.

If you received a check from PayPal:

The fastest way for an organization to receive their funds from PayPal Giving Fund and view your disbursements is to go enroll in PayPal Giving Fund's Certified Charity Program.



Once you are enrolled as a Certified Charity, just follow these steps to see which specific Certified Charity campaign these funds are from:

  1. Sign into your PayPal Giving Fund account by clicking Here
  2. Click "Activity" at the top of your screen
  3. Select a date range for when you received the donations
  4. Click "Download CSV"
