CrowdRise + 2019 Conferences

Speaking of 2019 nonprofit conferences. There are some amazing events coming up that you might want to think about hitting up next year. We’ll be attending some of them and hope to see you there.

The Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference

Taking place in New Orleans February 27th-28th, the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum Conference focuses on the latest trends and success strategies to boost your peer-to-peer program. With the inherent social nature of the world we’re living in, we think peer-to-peer is a integral part of any successful fundraising strategy.

Bonus for attending this conference? We’ll be there. We’re sponsoring the ‘Smaller, but Substantial Programs’ summit at the show, which will talk to nonprofit leaders about both budget and staffing challenges, and opportunities that come along with running these types of programs.

Additionally, we’ll be live and in person (yes, with stickers) at our CrowdRise by GoFundMe booth, as well as providing minute-by-minute coverage on our social media channels and blog.

The 2019 Nonprofit Technology Conference

At the 2019 Nonprofit Technology Conference, thousands of nonprofit colleagues will descend on Portland, Oregon from March 13th through March 15th. The conference focuses on ways nonprofits can collaborate, innovate, and discover new ways to ignite change using technology.

Cause Camp

At Cause Camp this year, fundraising professionals will gather in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 25th and March 26th to help guide nonprofits in the areas of marketing, fundraising, leadership, innovation, and more. A ‘boot camp’ of sorts for nonprofit professionals, this is a great opportunity to hone some skills, as well as interact with other Decent Humans just like yourself.

The AFP ICON 2019 Conference

Hosted in San Antonio, Texas from March 31st through April 2nd, the AFP ICON 2019 Conference is the world’s largest conference for professional fundraisers. It’ll be jam packed with educational sessions, keynote speakers, a massive marketplace, and thousands of nonprofit leaders.

We will be live and in person at the AFP ICON conference (yes, again with stickers) at our CrowdRise by GoFundMe booth in the marketplace, as well as doing our usual live coverage of the conference on both our blog and social media accounts.

Nonprofit Storytelling Conference

This year’s Storytelling Conference is actually a little later on in 2019, but worth getting out there. Hosted in San Diego from October 28th-30th, it’s all about how effective storytelling can affect more change for your organization. Plus, there’s a heavy focus on networking. It’s definitely a great conference if you want to learn more about how to take your mission and get it out more efficiently and effectively to your supporters.

So, there you have it. Some of the best 2019 nonprofit conferences that you should definitely check out, as well as the big reveal on our winning CrowdRise by GoFundMe sticker. Reminder that if you want a sticker of your own, either stop by and see us at one of the conferences we’ll be attending next year, or Go Here to fill out some quick info and we’ll pop one in the mail for you.
