When we designed the new CrowdRise by GoFundMe, we did it with the understanding that, not only do nonprofits use our platform, but so do their supporters. This made it even more important to create a highly intuitive design and focus on ease-of-use as core feature to the entire experience.

Our goal was to create a platform that allowed nonprofits to move faster and do more on their own. This included adding more self-service features than ever before, such as campaign branding and editing tools, that are easily accessible and intuitive.

We created a real-time editing view for campaigns, so you’ll know exactly how your edits and changes will look to the world without having to preview. Need a couple weeks to finalize everything on your campaign page? No problem. We added a publish feature that allows you to edit your story, add more pictures, and tweak your campaign all before anyone sees it. Simply press the publish button, and you’ll be ready to collect your first donation or sell your first ticket.

The bells and whistles, from anywhere

Speaking of editing, now nonprofits have the ability (and the control) to change up pretty much every aspect of their campaign page to make it as on-brand as possible. You can edit the design, content, or settings, set up a team template, and even add registration and ticketing. And, you can do all of this at anytime on any type of device.

Say you’re on the train and it just popped into your head that you wanted to add a custom ticket type that included parking for your event. You can hop on our mobile responsive platform from your phone or tablet and easily create and add that ticket type to your event registration.

Communication is key

Supporters are able to customize their campaign pages to showcase why your cause means so much to them. They can add a picture, video, campaign title, story, etc. to really illustrate their connection to your cause. You can set the branding and theming so all of your supporter campaigns have the same brand guidelines, but they can then personalize other elements of their page to make it even more compelling to their friends and family.
